I am a dietetic intern at UTMB, Galveston TX. I am very grateful for the RPG student donation to attend FNCE. I feel very privileged to attend this spectacular meeting as an intern, and I know it will have a significant impact in my career.
Conference/Meeting Stipend Award
RPG will award applicants the opportunity to attend a nephrology or renal related educational seminar or conference of their choice. The program must include topics and/or treatments related to CKD patients. In return, the applicant is required to submit an article for the peer-reviewed publication, The Renal Nutrition Forum, which should include relevant information about the conference/seminar attended that can be shared with other PRG members. RPG offers research grants for a member conducting an original research project in an area related to or benefitting those with chronic kidney disease. Please click on the application link for details. All applications are due by February 28th.
RPG offers for members pursuing a post-baccalaureate degree in a field applicable to renal nutrition. Scholarships can only be used for tuition fees and applicant must provide a statement of proposed academic experience in renal nutrition. Please click on the application link for details. Outstanding Service Award
RPG selects one Outstanding Service Award (OSA) recognition per year for RPG members who have demonstrated leadership, promoted the dietitians’ role with CKD, and has shown initiative and dedication to CKD patients. This prestigious award and recogniation includes a full sponsorship to the Academy’s Food and Nutrition Conference and Expo (FNCE) which includes FNCE registration with 2 night’s lodging and 3 days of per diem for meals and transportation. The recipient will also be a featured speaker at a RPG sponsored event at FNCE. Please click on the application link for details. All applications are due by May 6th.
